Irish Moss, scientifically known as Chondrus crispus, is a type of red algae found in the cold waters of the North Atlantic. It is considered a "superfood" because it is an incredible source of essential nutrients including magnesium, calcium, iodine, B vitamins, potassium, iron, bromine and zinc.
